HiLovely welcome from a young bar staff member who showed us to the room. Room was of good size but felt the bathroom could have been cleaner, there was a gap between sink and bath where items had dropped for example. Few things that the room/bathroom needed to be fixed.

As soon as we walked in it was clean and fresh and very welcoming. Very large room lots of space. Very clean and tidy comfy bed. Staff friendly checked everything ok. Had everything you need highly recommend

Booked it last minute so was not sure what to expect. However, I was blown away by the service; checked in at 1 am and was guided through the whole check in service over the phone which was a delight. Room was magnificent and comfortable.Price was an added advantage. Will stay again and do recommend it.

We only needed a base for a few days and the hotel was the perfect place.Local to where we wanted to be, peaceful, clean and comfortable.We had a lovely meal on the first night.My only issue would be that the toilet flush in the room was a bit of a nuisance, often taking several tries to get it to work and it wasn’t possible to take a shower without getting water all over the floor.Would definitely recommend and come again.Thanks

We stayed for two nights. Staff were excellent and had all amenities. Dinner and breakfast were available which we took advantage of. Very well priced. Felt it could do with a fresh up with a spring clean. Carpets cleaned etc otherwise a lovely place to stay.

After spending 2 nights at a hotel that we couldn't sleep in because the music was too loud we finally got the perfect relaxing night away we deserved here. Comfiest bed we have ever slept on and the bath was more than needed. Can't wait to come here again

Very nice and friendly staff. We found everyone to be really accommodating to our needs. Nice quiet surroundings. Rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. They thought of all the small things including a portable heater if needed. Would definitely recommend!

Clean tidy room, good food, very welcoming

We stayed in the bridal suite which was lovely, this had a jacuzzi bath. Tea and coffee in the room together with shower gel soap,ironing board with iron,fan and heater if required.Evening meal and breakfast were faultless and cooked to order

We booked two rooms, for both sons and one of their girlfriends, they had a lovely stay, loved the tranquil setting. They throughly enjoyed their cooked breakfast, they said it was excellent and they will definitely be backed, thank you very much.

What a wonderful and well looked after place - the staff are particularly attentive, the rooms are pristine & the chocolate cake is one of the best I have ever had. Thank you for looking after me and my dog so well. 12/10 would reccomend.

Stayed for a couple of nites..its a lovely place to stay..quiet and peaceful.we both have mobility issues,and was told we could park around the back which is right by entrance to where we stayed.also dogs are allowed which is a bonus as we have a chihuahua.would def stay again..thanks :)

Convenient location for our requirements during family funeral. Clean and adequate facilities.Meals were good.Only downside is bar area locked between 09:30 and 16:30. Although there is a separate guest entrance it is away from the carpark and we had rain some days. No a deal breaker though.

Problem with heating was immediately fixed, helpful and friendly staff. Food delicious.

Matt and the team fulfilled my every need, rooms are excellent value. Food was fantastic myself and my dog Roxi really enjoyed our stay. This is our 3rd time staying here each time the staff have gone above and beyond we checked in on Thursday on arrival we asked if you could possibly have a bath as travelled from England we got upgraded to the bridal suite which was stunning! Built in with jacuzzi bath large bed which was perfect. Breakfast was beautiful great produce again staff made sure everything was perfect. Amazing location perfect for a chilled time away in the mountains within driving distance of public attractions. We look forward to returning

Real value for money great hotel warming staff

The Baltic Inn was definitely convenient and value for money after a day at the races... most welcoming and comfortable environment, food and drink available without having to leave the premises. We willcertainly stay again.

Was a bit doubtful due to the mixed reviews but we enjoyed our stay and good value. Really quiet place. Highly recommend C&M, the local cab company.

We stayed at this lovely place on July 15th, clean bedrooms and toilets. Morning breakfast was served on time and such a lovely staff who accommodated all our requests without any hesitation and served us yummy English breakfast. Ambience was too good , our family enjoyed so much. We look forward to visiting again soon

Loved our stay at the Baltic Inn staff so friendly it's in a lovely quiet place so ideal for young kids getting them to sleep and all. And very near all the places we wanted to visit. We would definitely recommend this place.

Nice place to be fair. As it was just a flying visit I only interacted with one staff member and he was pleasant and engaging. Food was fine.Only slight issue was the irritating sound of a door slapping itself shut somewhere on the ground floor but it didn't exactly go on all night. In fairness, hospitality is struggling and these people work hard to provide the service they do. They deserve some support to keep going.

When you arrive you are immediately struck by the incredible decor. Very comfortable beds. The shower was seriously powerful and the quiet location was perfect. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend, all staff kind and polite and nothing was to much trouble. The evening meal was 5* followed by a lovely Full English breakfast this morning. We will be staying again... Top marks

This is the second time we have had an overnight stay in this lovely inn and found it to be as good as the first. We were allocated a smaller room than the first but it was adequate and just as clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a good night's rest in a beautiful location. We cannot comment on the food as knowing that it is situated in quite a remote area we have eaten before we have arrived and have left for an early start before breakfast.

This is a family run hotel and not too far away from Skanda Vale Ashram and temple. The room size is good and very neat. The people who run this and work there are very helpful. I rate it as full star.

Our overnight stay at a very reasonable price certainly exceeded our expectations. The inn is situated in a beautiful quiet area surrounded with spectacular views. We requested a twin bedded room and were allocated a very spacious suite containing a lovely bathroom, double bed, single bed, wardrobe, plenty of drawers, settee, coffee table, television, tea & coffee facilities and all the amenities one could want. We had a very restful and comfortable night ready for an early start the following day. We could not ask for more and would highly recommend this lovely inn.

Rooms was good for family of 4 at reasonable price.

We were supposed to stay in a small double but as we were staying a few nights we were kindly upgraded to a bigger room.Pleasantly located, an ideal stop for a short break.Friendly staff.

I very much enjoyed the stay at the Baltic Inn. Clean room, hot shower, comfy and clean bed. Maybe a tad too soft mattress. Cosy lounge at reception with a very good bar with a good selection of beers and wines. I would definitively recommend this Inn.

Such a lovely place. Our stay at the Baltic Inn was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and professional and the room was lovely. The breakfast was wonderful, with a huge variety of food available, which was locally sourced. A great bonus is that they are dog friendly. Highly recommended.

It’s good hotel and facilities are good

Booked a stay as we were attending a wedding nearby, we were relieved to be allowed to check in earlier so we did not have to leave the wedding in order to check in. Also relieved to be able to return to the hotel late. We booked a small double room, it was very clean and comfortable and had everything we required.

Well furnished, bright and clean accommodation. Plenty of space - big bed, big bath.We had eaten before we arrived and only stopped the one night, but we’re satisfied with our experience.

Very clean and tidy with plenty of tea and coffee in the room which for the English travellers is great. The facilities are amazing there was a heater if your old and a fan if your hot. The beds were so comfortable and we had a amazing night sleep and the breakfast was brilliant we will definitely be back.

The inn was quiet when we stayed and not serving meals during the week except breakfast, which was excellent.The staff were lovely and very accommodating.We had an issue with the plumbing and we’re moved to a nicer room with no hesitation.Overall the staff were very good , it was comfortable but the rooms need a bit of tlc.

Quiet locationThis holiday can be a mixture of b and b and self catering if you so choose as food is not available every nightThey are happy for you to order a pizza etc from small nearby takeaway.There was a fridge in the room

Room 5We stayed for a family funeral. Very kindly they let us check in early which we appreciated after a lengthy journey. They were very friendly and offered to take my case upstairs. The room was clean and had plenty of tea bags etc for our stay. We met up with family there fairly quickly and despite The Baltic having a busy works party we were able to have a carvery lunch which was tasty and we were grateful. After we went for a drive and pick up some welsh cakes and treats. On our return the party was still in full swing. What a friendly bunch they were too. We had a couple of drinks before heading upstairs to sit on our sofa drinking tea and watching tv. Our bed was comfortable, the room was warm ( but in the wardrobe was a fan if you were hot and a heater if you were cold ) and the shower was ok too. The breakfast was very tasty too!We would stay here again, very accommodating.

This was a last minute booking. We were so pleased with our choice of hotel. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. We could park outside which was an added bonus.The jacuzzi bath was the reason for this choice and it didn't disappoint. The staff were all so friendly and attentive. The pleasant lady in the kitchen cooked our breakfasts to order and it was lovely to get a freshly cooked, hot and tasty breakfast every morning. There was also a choice of continental breakfast items.We ate in the restaurant two nights and enjoyed our meals, especially the super Welsh Rarebit starter.The hotel is well situated to explore many exciting places and the weather was kind to us everyday.A fabulous venue for a wedding which was happening on the day we left.Thank you to all at the hotel who made our stay so enjoyable and relaxing.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a comfortable stay in a good size room for the family which was really peaceful. We also had our own secure patio area where the kids could happily play. A great selection for breakfast but could have had a better selection of coffee and maybe mugs instead of teacups.

He was very friendly and asked if we needed anything for our room.Didn't have food at the hotel (as the Chef went off with Covid), so can't comment.Lovely village setting. I stayed for four nights B&B. My room was a little cluttered and tired looking but perfectly comfortable and had everything I needed, apart from a two pin plug to charge my toothbrush. This was obtained for me straight away, so you cannot ask for better service!.The cooked breakfasts were lovely and if, like me, you are unable to eat a 'Full English', you can request a smaller version.I didn't have an opportunity to try the restaurant for any other meals but found the staff friendly and received excellent service during my stay. Thank you.

First visited on the previous saturday for wedding reception . Enjoyed meal and friendly helpful staff.Returned for overnight stay , whilst bar and restaurant were closed , but again enjoyed the experience . Excellent breakfast.

We made a pitstop from wales to go back to London. It was a bit last minute, we managed to secure a room at a great price. We weren’t expecting much, but the service turned out to be excellent! The manager called us to check if we intended to have a meal (as we were reaching a bit late!) the room was cosy had all the facilities one would need for a night. I think how a guest gets welcomed and treated upon arrival makes a lot of difference, the manager did well there for us to remember this stay!

Stayed for one night with my mother-in-law after visiting the National Botanic Gardens,which were about a 20 min drive away.Clean room with 2 x very comfy double beds.Spotless throughout,nice powerful shower and we had everything we needed. Glen at the bar was really polite, helpful and friendly as were the morning staff who cooked a huge and delicious breakfast. We had an evening meal which was a bit late in arriving but was well cooked and plentiful. Nice setting, good value all round and the staff are a credit.

Large car park. Located close to Pembrey circuit. Very friendly welcome and a nothing too much trouble approach from staff. Really enjoyed our meal in the hotel restaurant too.Room was very clean with everything needed for a comfortable stay.Only downside was a neighbouring room had a very loud small child running around at midnight but the hotel can't be blamed for that! We will use The Baltic Inn again when revisiting the area

Our stay at the Baltic Inn and Restaurant was amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, for the whole time we were there. The food was so delicious with generous portions. The room was wonderful, very clean, spacious, with everything you need; the bath and jacuzzi were a very welcome added bonus. They are dog friendly too. We will definitely be returning here. Lovely location, with beautiful surrounding countryside. Very highly recommended.

We were travelling for work in Llanelli and we could not find anything suitable there so we stayed here and was so glad we did. Lovely clean and spacious rooms, secure parking, excellent area with plenty of peace and quiet. Simple check in process would return and recommend.

Second time we stayed here was lively. Room was clean and room was very cosy. On arrival customer service was great. Showed us to our room.

Overall very good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was great - all freshly cooked and very good flavour. The bacon served at breakfast was really tasty! Staff were friendly and helpful and it was nice sitting in the lounge area in the evening and relaxing.Looking forward to returning to do more family history next year!

Can’t praise highly enough the Manager and lady bar staff who were kind, helpful and patient. Our room was large , comfortable and just what we needed but the room and especially the bathroom needed a deep clean. Proper cleaning especially with Covid 19 concerns needs serious attention - that includes under beds and furniture, the bottoms of basins, taps and toilets and surfaces like under trays - whoever their cleaning staff are they need to step up their game - easy things to put right - sure it can be sorted for future visitors.

I was let down by a hotel in Swansea so called this hotel late at night. They were welcoming helpful and kind. The room was lovely, well stocked with tea and coffee and toiletries. Immaculately clean too. The restaurant is currently closed due to Covid, but I could see it was a ski chalet style restaurant, looked very nice. I would say this is a perfect place to stay for a walking holiday. Pet friendly, so my dog was welcome too.

After being let down by another hotel and scrambling to find another place to stay I found the Baltic.We had our boxer dog with us and dogs are welcome at the Baltic. The rooms are lovely and clean and spacious.We ate in the restaurant and the food was very nice and good portions. The girl behind the bar was pleasant and helpful.

We stayed in a family room , myself and my husband and three children aged 12 and two 14 year olds . The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed . We also took our dog and the room opened straight on to an outdoor area which was great for the dog . It’s in a great area too . There was no breakfast but the owner explained this on the phone so it was fine and there’s a great cafe five mins a way . The kettle wasn’t working but as soon as it was reported it was replaced straight away . Would stay here again .

Our stay at the Baltic in was just what we needed after a long day travelling.We were welcomed by a very kind and informative member of staffwho had up graded us.Our room was immaculate. Warm and smelt clean and fresh. We had extra bedding to hand plenty of tea & coffee. The best part of our stay was a full sized kettle! Yes you read that right! What a treat.We would stay again and give the Baltic Inn 5*.

Interesting pub/hotel tucked away, deep in the Welsh countryside.Staff are all very friendly, and helpful. A good cooked breakfast, with a vegetarian option. Our bedroom was clean and cosy, but slightly on the small. Evening meals are available, are good quality and value. The bar is reasonably well stocked, but not a good selection of ales. All in all, an enjoyable stay, only gripe was that there was no fresh coffee for breakfast.

i recommend staying there. the pub down the road is great for food too.

Overall a lovely stay. Shannon was so helpful and nothing to much trouble. The only point which let the Baltic inn down on our opinion was the cereal and toast area. It was constantly running out of white bread. Had no brown bread whatsoever. Ran out of juices. Customers were constantly having to ring the bell for the morning staff to assist. The hot breakfast was outstanding.

My husband and I and our collie dog spent a night at the Baltic this weekend. We were comfortable and made to feel welcome. The food was excellent and we would certainly recommend this hotel.

We booked this hotel at the last minute, and to our pleasant surprise were allocated the bridal suite. The room was immaculate, spacious, well presented, with a walk in wardrobe and to top it off, a hot tub bath.The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful, we had a great nights' sleep and then had a lovely large breakfast in the morning, which was included in the price.Staff were friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend this hotel - especially if you are staying in the bridal suite (which is very reasonably priced).All in all, great value for money. Would definitely return.

Hotel itself is lovely, it's remote and spotlessly clean. Rooms are nice and a good size at a good price. Would have been a five star review if it wasn't for being able to hear the old couple next door talking and literally hearing every word they said, lol. At one point the even made a call on speaker phone to a relative and we could hear her every word too (We hope that your partner finds a job soon by the way and that your garden wall gets rebuilt before the winter comes)Breakfast lovely though. Just a shame about the noise, could hear the people in the bar too downstairs for a while but that was short lived.

Great accommodation very helpful staff very clean

Very friendly atmosphere and prompt service, it is unfortunate our early departure did not allow as to rate their breakfast. Judging by their hospitality I am sure it would have been equally excellent. The rooms were clean and present a good value for money.

Just returned from a 1 night getaway for myself and my partner. We just went for a relaxing break and that's exactly what we got. The room was spacious, clean and fresh and had everything we needed. The Jacuzzi bath was a lovely extra! We had booked in at the restaurant and our food was delicious. Would highly recommend the home made brownies! All the staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast in the morning was a full English which was very tasty! We will definitely be returning here and we're keen to try the Sunday roast! Thanks for a lovely stay, just the break we needed.

We arrived in time for a delicious Sunday carvery and even got 3 courses for the price of 2! The room was spacious and clean. Onlyone small gripe - no sockets near any of the mirrors to plug in the hairdryer. This seems to be a problem in lots of hotels.

A very peaceful location but without feeling isolated. Evening meal and room were excellent but breakfast didn’t match those standards, with instant coffee only and extremely firm scrambled egg accompanying boiled mushrooms.

Very welcoming place, lovely hosts, they even gave us a lift to the race course. Our bedroom was excellent (we stayed in the honeymoon suite).

I would've given 4.5 if I could because for a 3* Inn it was brilliant. I stayed here for 3 nights with my boyfriend and my daughter.The following review is long and detailed.Upon arrival it was very easy to spot, very clean and had ample parking.As I entered there was a lovely meet and greet guy, really well mannered and even offered to carry our bags. Same with the other two members of staff we met whilst staying really lovely people. I could even understand them which was a bonus as I’m from the North of England ha-ha.I would describe the room attire as basic modern antique and very spacious. I am - a bit too - fussy with hygiene but I can’t fault this place. Everything was clean and I couldn’t find a single bit of anything. Even the drawers/storage seemed as if they had been vacuumed out. The rooms had plenty tea and coffee to offer - including decaf. The beds were super comfy too even with my bad back I slept well.I do have a few suggestions, but not complaints about the stay.The main two major things I would say they need to invest in are: blackout curtains/blinds and frosted windows in the bathroom. Although the bathroom window was small and didn’t really look out onto anything busy, I felt a bit "exposed"; maybe some cheap simple frosted sticky back plastic from Wilkos would do the job.On a not so important scale perhaps some sort of fan on offer. I think I saw some heaters if you would like, but when we stayed it was extremely warm - even with the heating off and the windows open I could’ve done with a small breeze. I would also like if there was a couple coat hooks somewhere in the room, however there is a cupboard so we just used that. One more suggestion would be juice for the room when booking with a child. I had all the tea and coffee I wanted whilst in the room but I had to take bottles of juice in from the shops for my daughter.Time for breakfast: It’s all cooked to order with a two hour gap to decide when you want. There are also fresh orange, apple juice, cereal and bread to choose from as well.Free constant Wi-Fi which is a huge bonus, because a lot of places only doing 30mins.Overall a very good stay and would definitely book again.

We were very impressed when we reached the Inn and were warmly welcomed at check in. Our room was smaller than expected but was clean and had ensuite. I requested a chair as I had a back injury and it was no problem to get it. The restaurant was warm and welcoming and the food was excellent.The bar area was good. Breakfast was exactly right and the staff went out of their way to help us regarding our activities. We were sorry that the place was not open on Sunday evenings but were given choices to go to.We both enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to friends.Next time we will book a larger room and stay longer. Thank you all.

We had a lovely stay at the Baltic Inn, bedroom was clean and had a jacuzzi corner bath.The only issue we had was the green light in car park which shown in our room.This did go off later in evening.Breakfast was good. All in all good value.

No common at all because we were happy that the staff were friendly and respect that we are deaf.

Amazing! The host was lovely and the food was so impressive ! (Eat THERE) we came for the temple (skanda vale) and it was a 30 min short trip! Unfortunately the bath room did have a smell to it abait but it was bearable after spray! But all in all rooms were nice and everything was good!

Would recommend a meal or several here good price too for a fab menu and taste.Room was ok bit dated our one was and housekeeping need to pay more attendion in parts.the noise from other rooms was bad as walls far to thin so could hear even conversations as i am sure they could hear us too.other than that no complaints.staff very very warm and chatty very attentive.wish there was star rating for food and one for accomedation.5 star for food but 3 star for the room

A lovely quiet inn with friendly, welcoming staff. Great food, bar and a very clean family room. We felt very welcome and would definately stay again. A bit off the motorway but perfect for travellers from England heading to Pembroke for the Ferry.

We were a group of three, and had a very comfortable stay. A quiet place, with great surroundings, the Baltic was a very pleasant surprise. Gordon served us well, we had a great breakfast and there is a large lounge to hang out in. Thanks for a great stay, Baltic!

Stayed with my wife while on business in area. Room was slightly compact but very clean; bed very comfortable. Excellent bathroom. Food superb. Staff attentive and friendly. Considering the owners (chef included) only took over 6 weeks before they have done well to turn this hotel round. highly recommend the restaurant and hotel if you are in the area.

Situated in lovely rolling hills of South Wales within easy day trips to the coastal areas and Swansea shopping facilities.A nice Inn with large entertainment facilities ideal for weddings and business conferences.Management and staff were courteous, efficient and above all friendly. The food was top class with the Michelin trained Chef excelling with speciality dishes that captured your taste buds.Make sure you are hungry at meal time because the exotic gourmet Burgers and huge.We enjoyed our brief stay and I am sure we will visit again.Great value, keep it up.

2nd stay at this hotel & owner recognised me from previous visit. Good location for my business trip central to areas visited, Nice spacious clean room and ensuite and comfy bed. Nice meals and staff who are always willing to help. Only negative would be phone reception as minimal networks cover but thats no fault of the hotel.Good wifi connections though.

we stayedovernight here and found it lovely and quiet. the family room was perfect for our stay, very clean and spacious. the breakfast was lovely and hot and found the staff very pleasant and friendly to talk to. The cost was brlliant and best in the area. would stay here again.

First thing to state is that Viv and all his staff went out of their way to make us welcome. The bedroom had wafer thin walls and when full we heard conversations in adjoining rooms and footsteps in the corridor. The food was disappointing. It appeared to all come out of a freezer although some deserts were home made. Iris's breakfasts were good once we got rid of the anaemic mushrooms and sausages and fried bread that we did not need. For me the food could be improved by better quality and the use of freshly prepared vegetables and main courses. The Baltic Inn was not alone in not serving fresh vegetables we found the same at three other establishments we tried in that part of Wales. The Baltic Inn is remote.

I have taken your views & comments on adjoining room 5 noise at busy times & have taken action your room is to be soundproofed & carpet fitted along the corridor in place of laminate flooring this will be done asap. As regards to the breakfast we are a little confused we have a breakfast sheet on check in & fresh produce @ all times bacon,eggs,tomatoes,mushrooms,etc. all my team aim to please. Our main meals are a balance combination of fresh,chilled,& frozen in order to provide consistent quality meals swiftly @ all times, I would like to thank you once again for your constructive criticism & have taken action very soon we are to provide pictures of our breakfasts on our website. Lovely welcolming stay the inn was clean and tidy and the owner and staff were very nice,however we were woken up during the night as there was loud vocies heard from downstairs somekind of fracus.Apart from that it was fine.
